UX Design Internship - Landing Page Redesign
As a UX Design Intern for this project, the goal was to redesign Contentful's landing page to speak directly to technical and non-technical audiences.
The challenge was to ensure that Contentful's products prioritized their technical audience, while also creating a balance that provides solutions that supports the needs of non-technical users as well.

This website is accessible via desktop, smartphone, and tablets.
A limitation for this design was the cost of the accessibility feature to be included in the final web design.
Safe Scope Mobile App
An application for determining the population density and infrastructure in specific areas in relation to COVID-19.
​
​Catered to individuals who's mental health have been negatively impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Users have access to a smartphone and this app should be accessible for iPhone and Android users.
​
Our team's limitations were funding and marketing. We still have questions to answer how this application would be funded if this is free for users to download in the app store and Google play store.
Spelman College Commencement App
As the Commencement App Coordinator for Spelman College I designed a seamless user experience for the graduating classes of 2020 and 2021.

This application was designed for the Graduating classes of Spelman College, parents of the graduating class, and guests.
​
This guide is made accessible through an application called Guidebook. Guidebook application is accessible on smartphones such as iPhone and Android.
​
The limitations of my design included not being able to customize certain features within the app because it was a guide, therefore I did not have access to the backend.​

Good and Bad UI Design
The purpose of this project is to review good and bad UI designs. Two good UI designs I chose were Behance.net and Spotify. Two bad UI designs that I chose were Craigslist and dangerous designs within urban planning.​​​
​
The user is based on the target audience of each UI design example that I chose.​ Some of the designs that I chose are accessible on the mobile app, desktop, and urban planning.​ The limitations or outliers of these designs are which users are excluded in the design process. ​
Abbott’s Fundraiser 4DX Virtual Reality Experience
The purpose of this project is to develop a Afrofuturist solution to solve a problem for a television show character. Abbott Elementary needs help to raise funds so that they can take a field trip to the Franklin Institute.​​
​
100 years into the future, students no longer need to visit school field trips in person if they aren’t able to. Imagine the Abbott Elementary school students using a 4DX virtual reality device that would allow them to transport into an immersive multi-sensory experience.
